"Religion is never a problem; It's the people who use it to gain power".

Collaboration from the church sector as well as the community is necessary for effective police work. As a result, the Philippine National Police (PNP) has taken action to start the revitalized KASIMBAYANAN (Kapulisan, Simbahan, and Pamayanan) Program across the nation.

The revitalized KASIMBAYANAN, which stands for Kapulisan, Simbahan, at Pamayanan, was first launched in Calasiao on January 30, 2021, and was later launched within the entire PNP organization.

The PNP Kasimbayanan is a community mobilization program that emphasizes the synergistic and cooperative partnership between the PNP and the general public through the intervention and assistance of the religious sector toward the goal of a comprehensive transformation involving the PNP and the community it serves and protects.

By repurposing PNP members as community-based bridge builders to promote community involvement in anticipating, preventing, and solving crimes, the initiative also fosters interaction between three crucial sectors.

The Cadets of the Philippine National Police Academy joined the meeting for the upcoming celebration of fiesta in Jaro District under the supervision of PMAJ Eduardo S. Siacon Jr. (Station Commander), together with other religious leaders led by Rev. Msgr. Jose Marie A. Delgado.
